I have a question.
Patient had an EP study done. Patient required a SVT ablation. Due to patient size the physician decided to bring him back for the abalation. 3 weeks later SVT abalation was performed.
How would you code this.
Diagnostic EP and Abalation are now bundled (93653). The patient had the EP on a seperate day(93620).
The procedure included 2-d mapping (93609) . Left side pacing via cs catheter (93621). Isuprel post ablation.(not coded due to performed post abalation for effectivness of abaltion)
So how would you code this... This is what I am thinking.
93653-52?
93609
93621 ( now so say you can will this with 93653 and some say no)
