I have a doubt that I would like to try to clarify. What is the correct code to use for "Elevated Hemoglobin"? D58.2 or R79.89

I d use or R73.09 or R79.89 since elevated condition is happening not any other blood abnormality. Keep in mind the relationship between hemoglobin and glucose?
Hemoglobin A1c indicates an average of blood glucose levels over the past 3 months. Its close association with the risk for the development of long-term complications is well established.
However the rest of the documentation adds to the selection of the dx code too, which I do not have.
