Hi, I am new to EM coding, have below queries, 1. Patient seen by physician A at ED and physician ask orthopedic physician B to consult at ER. Then upon review physician B states, patient will be admitted by Physician A. Now I can code Physician A-ED codes and Physician B-Initial Inpatient codes. 2. MDM- scheduled IV drug completed changed to oral analgesia, can i consider this as prescription drug management 3. No changes to any drugs and just started continue with same drug , which option to be selected in risk table C 4. Patient with multiple rib fractures admitted in ICU for 2 days and then discharged. Can i Code this with 99291, 99292.No other acute or chronic conditions, can consider rib fracture as critically ill condition.
