Patient presents with concerns after reduction of fracture, still within 90 day global which I know can't be billed for however, they also had concerns for UTI.

Can I bill for the portion of the workup that was for the UTI? If so, is there a modifier to apply?

If there is a workup including exam related to the UTI, it can be coded. I believe the 24 modifier would be most appropriate.
