Hi all. I am new to internal medicine and I have a question. My boss would like to know if there is a code for an "emergent" problem. Example: Patient calls and has shingles. Patient is seen immediately. What code do I bill for? Any help is appreciated. Thank you:(
 
if the patient is seen in your office as an "emergency " patient you can add 99058 to all other codes. read the description careful to be sure it fits.
