I was wondering if anyone knew if there are any edits on how long time should pass if you do an emg one day then do the ncv another day. Some work comp carriers are not paying for the ncv when doing an emg even though they supposedly do not recognize the 2012 CPT codes. They are still putting CCI edits on. Any guidance appreciated.

There is no global period or edits for doing ncv/emg with wcomp, you can perform both on same day. You do however have to use old emg codes when performing with ncv.
i.e. 95860,95861,95862, etc.
