My office recently hired a physiatrist and so, we now have a need to become familiar with how to code EMG/nerve conduction studies. We definitely want to be compliant and so, it's important we actually know how to do this right from the start.

I am posting to see if there's anyone out there that I would be able to ask some questions in regard to this. Please feel free to send me a private message. We can go from there.

Kristen...There was a really good article in last months AAPC Coding Edge Magazine on billing for EMG/nerve conduction studies. I am new to neurology myself and found it a good resource. Good luck!
