Good afternoon all. Hopefully someone whom has run across this in their business can assist me. In a physicians office that completes their own Medicare billings, can an individual be a contractor vs an employee? This question was brought to me, as I am an accountant dealing with payroll/1099's, but I don't know all the privacy laws regarding medical billings. Please help!! Thank you!
