I need a little help in choosing a code.
The doctor performed an, excision of left mainstrem endobronchial tumor with snare. The note reads, We were able to get around the base with a snare. We applied 25 walls(?) (maybe joules) of electrocautery and were able to detach the lesion. It was grasped and removed through the endotracheal tube.
31625 is for biopsy
31640 is an excision
31641 with destruction of tumor or relief by any other method.
Does anyone know if there is a code for snare removal?
