Looking for Endo coders: New to Endo coding and I would love to pick your brain. CPT 95251, 95250, etc

I don't specifically code endo but here are some resources:
This has all the updates and revisions info: https://www.novitas-solutions.com/webcenter/portal/MedicareJL/pagebyid?contentId=00006150

For NJ for the supply/monitor (DME) search policies here: https://med.noridianmedicare.com/web/jadme/policies/lcd/active
For Part B NJ policies search here: https://www.novitas-solutions.com/webcenter/portal/MedicalPolicy_JL/

Specialty societies normally having practice management and billing/coding resources: https://www.endocrine.org/

Health plans; you have to search their medical policies depending on the coverage. Example: https://www.uhcprovider.com/content...toring-insulin-delivery-managing-diabetes.pdf

And, as always, read the CPT guidelines. If you read the info before the 9525_ section under Endocrinology and the code descriptions and parentheticals may answer questions you have. There are also CPT Assistant Articles for these services.

Hi! Not an endo coder but I worked front desk at an endo office while I was in school. We had some patients who would come to the office, we would provide them the Dexcom/freestyle and place it on them, they would wear it for the 2 weeks (or until it fell off) and would come back where we would take it off and go over the readings, 95250. We had other patients who would have their own equipment and place it themselves, but would be connected to our office so the provider could pull up their reports at any time. So our provider would only be pulling up the linked report and going over the information with the patient, 95251. Hope this helps!
