What code is everyone using for this? The description for 35600 clearly is for an open procedure. Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated.

We are using 35600. The code description in the CPT book is "Harvest of upper extremity artery, 1 segment, for coronary artery bypass procedure (List separately in addition to code for primary procedure)." The actual code description itself does not specify this as an "open" procedure. Even though the CDR or Lay term description may indicate this is performed via an open incision, that does not necessarily make that the only possible method of harvest, the lay term descriptions are only the most common method used.
