To EP coders/billers-
code 93620 is for complete EP study with induction/attempted induction of arrhythmia which includes pacing and recording of Rt atrium, Rt ventricular and His bundle.

My question is: is it ok to use 93620 if recording was tried and unsuccessful in the His bundle recording area?

Or should the correct codes be 93610 and 93612?

If the MD has documented why there is no recording in the His bundle, that should be sufficient to bill 93620.
