Hi! At the hospital I work at we use Epic. I like the system, it's very user friendly and it doesn't really affect coding at all. It actually helps coding. Epic is set up for each hospital, so not every hospital/clinic have the same functions. What I mean, for example each hospital can put in different edits to have charges stop for a coder to look at before it goes out the door, edits can be up into place for certain insurances, if modifier is needed, bundling issues, if you want procedures reviewed at 100% you can have them stopped to be looked at. All in all I think Epic is a great system and very helpful in the coding world.
 
The system is great

I used it at the State and it is a great system with great support staff.
