Can anyone shed some light on coding for an Epidural Re-Dose for delivery?
I haven't really been able to find much on the topic, but from what I understand (and I could be totally wrong) you would use 01996 for re-dose, if it was done the next day.

Thanks so much for any clarification and insight!

When the epidural is placed for labor / delivery, it is our understanding of the code 01967 definition that this includes all re-dose visits during labor.

OK. That is what I have always thought. But someone brought it to my attention that I may need to bill for it. But I thought it was included.

Thanks so much!
