I need to know how to bill for a pt that comes into the ER and is seen by a physician that is a clinic doctor but during this service he is contracted by the hospital, and also admits the pt to the hospital... can you bill both and ER doc charge and an admit charge?

If one physician is providing the entire service you would roll up all services provided to determine you level of initial hospital visit coded (9922x).
