If a patient comes into the ER on one calendar date and then not discharged until the next calendar date, you would assign appropriate ER code, however would you assign an additional code for the discharge? Please note the patient was never put into Observation Status. Please advise. Thank you

There isn't a code for ER d/c. You would need to use an ER code.
