hello,

What would you code for ERCP if a stent was removed from the biliary tree (no specification from which duct), and then a stent was placed in the left hepatic duct and one in the right hepatic duct? It doesn't specify which duct the stent was removed from so i'm not sure i can code a repalcement/exchnage (43276).
So would it be correct to code 43274 (left hepatic duct stent palcement), 43274-59 (right hepatic duct stent palcement), and 43275-59 removal of biliary stent?

Any thoughts are appreciated.
