I am trying to find definitive documenation that ERG's cannot be billed bilaterally. Any ideas?
 
92275

92275 is a bilateral service, being billed as one unit. If you perform the test on only one eye, then append the 52 modifier for a lesser than normal service. The American Academy of Ophthalmology website is a good place to look for information on 92275, under the Neuro ophthalmology coding module. The most current information is from 2011. Hope this helps.
