I just came across a pt came in and the doctor did a established visit and did not find any issues except histor of ear infection and pt is doing well with her acne issues. So what icd-9 code do i use. I cant find history of ear infec and history of acne.

WERE FAMILY PRACTICE, AND PT IS A NEW PT AND CAME TO GET ESTABLISHED ONLY.

you would bill a 99381-99387 depending on the patients age and you would use V70.0 for a routine check up. hope that helps
