I have a physician that performs CPT code 43259 along with an injection into the celiac space. Per NCCI edits CPT code 64530 is bundled with 43259; however is there another code that would be acceptable since the injection is a separate procedure than the EGD?
 
We didn't realize the two were bundled since our physicians rarely performed these and the last one was a few years ago which paid fine. A couple months ago, we billed one out and of course, it denied. We wrote off the charge. If there is another code, I'd be interested as well, but couldn't come up with anything at that time.
