I am new to coding for Endovenous Laser Ablation, (36478 & 36479)
We had a pt come in for an OV and the doc decided this pt needed to have EVLA immediately. These codes do not have a global period. He also had to have ultra sound guided sclerotherapy (36470 & 36471). Is there a modifier that we sould use showing that these procedures were done on an emergant basis?
