Hello! I was hoping to get come guidance. I am fairly new to general surgery and I'm stuck. My provider did an exploration of umbilicus and excision of lipomatous mass (4.2x3.5) instead of preforming an umbilical hernia repair; pathology is periumbilical fat. I really have no idea what CPT code to use. Any suggestions?
