Hi! What would you code for a excision of a median sternotony sinus tract??

There is 20500, injection of sinus tract but unable to locate a excision of sinus tract. It was mentioned that 21627, sternal debridement may work. I am just not sure. Any help would be great!

Excision of sinus tract

I was told before that we should use the repair code section2031- 12057
and code it to the anatomicl part. In your case this is the Trunk.

Let me know if you get a different answer.
