Can someone explain this excludes 1 note to me? excludes 1: diagnostic abnormal findings classified elsewhere-see alphabetical index.

categories R90-R94 have the excludes 1 note:
Excludes 1
•diagnostic abnormal findings classified elsewhere - see Alphabetical Index
which means if the radiologist renders an impression of a condition which can be coded elsewhere in the classification then you use the more specific code and not a code from these categories and you do not code both.
