Please provide your valuable input. I feel the appropriate CPT would be 26418 with F1 modifier.

Dx:
1. Left index finger laceration, extensor tendon injury.
2. Local wound, radial left index finger metacarpophalangeal joint.

Procedures:
1. Primary repair of left index finger laceration and extensor tendon retinaculum repair.
2. I and D and closure of left index finger traumatic injury.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF OPERATIVE PROCEDURE: The patient was brought into the operating room and placed on table in supine position. After administration of appropriate anesthetic agents and monitoring devices, the left upper extremity was sterilely prepped and draped in standard orthopedic fashion with nonsterile tourniquet. Time-out was taken to ensure correct site and side of surgery and preoperative antibiotics were given. The previously placed sutures in the Emergency Department were removed. We then opened the wound. There was a retinacular tear retracted greater than 1 cm. There was a partial tear of the extensor tendon. We then thoroughly irrigated the wounds and repaired the extensor tendon and retinaculum without complication with small Vicryl sutures. The skin edges were then maintained with a nylon after thorough irrigation. We then applied a sterile dressing and a splint. The patient was awakened from anesthesia and transferred to the recovery room in stable condition. All counts were correct.

Thanks in advance.
