Medicare patient, MRI Rt. knee and MRI Rt. ankle same day and same session. Will Medicare pay for both procedures?

If you meet medical necessity for both they will - code the joint code twice, with -59 modifier on the second.

Donna is right if they are reading different parts of the anatomy and reporting then you can bill both.
