Hello all,
Hoping someone can shed some light on a scenario that popped up in our GI practice. The patient was brought in for a colonoscopy and IV sedation was given for 19 minutes, when they realized they were unable to fully sedate her they stopped and asked an anesthesiologist to come in for MAC. Should we be billing for the 99152 in this case at all?
Thank you!
