I have a surgeon who is doing a MPJ fusion one year after a bunionectomy was performed. According to his pre and post op dx. "Failed bunion surgery, right lower extremity".

I am not sure how to code this. Do I use 998.89 and E878.8?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you
