Can I bill for a mother that is coming into the office for test results without her child at the request of the physician because he does not give out test results over the phone. If I bill this service, how do I bill it? As a E/M? Also I'm not sure I can bill the faculity side of the bill only the professional side. Any comments or suggestions are very welcome, I am stumped. Also the physician if it makes a difference is a specialist.
