It seems I am getting back multiple billing sheets requesting a different diagnosis code for family planning visits. If a patient is being seen for their AV/IV and a pelvic exam is performed, then I'm using Z01.419 as the primary code and it pays. My problem is with problem visits and visits where the pelvic exam is not performed. Any other clinics having this issue? If so, have you found a solution?
