I work for a psychiatry a group. They have a patient seen by two different psychiatrists and one sees them for family therapy and the other for individual therapy. Can they be seen on the same day in terms of billing?

All depends on the insurance company. Last time I was in mental health (8 or so years ago), Medicare wouldn't allow it, and most of the commercials did not either.

Modifier 59 should be amended to one of the service. You can also verify with the payor.
