A Shave Biopsy is done on a Upper Eyelid with a Dx of Fibroepithelial Polyp, would the procedure code be 88304 or 88305? I believe the procedure code would be 88305, since it is a skin Bx, but our billing dept keeps down-coding to 88304 & I do not know why. Whenever the Dx has a Fibro anything they downcode procedure code to 88304. Please let me know who is right,
