I am trying to find the procedure code for a patient we are treating that has small cell lung cancer. The doctor is doing prophylactic cranial irradiation therapy. I am filling in for the person that does the coding in this department and I am not familiar with this treatment. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I have lots of experience in Rad Onc Coding.

For your example above, you would need multiple procedure codes depending on how the patient is being treated. As far as diagnosis coding, you would need to use V58.0, V07.8, and 162.X.
