Can anyone help with the medicaid modifiers I am getting denials on some but not all medicaid claims for vaginal deliveries and C-sections. No one at medicaid can give me an answer as to what they are looking for.
 
What type of practice are you? I am also receiving denials for deliveries and we are midwives and OB/GYN doctors.
 
Have you checked the Medicaid Manual? I know that FL does not pay the AS modifiers and they only recognize 80 for Assistant surgeons.
