Florida Medical Coding Hiring Managers needed for a survey about hiring inexperienced

I am looking for medical coding hiring managers in the state of Florida to take my survey. The hyperlink is below:

My name is Jennifer Kardys-Delgado. I am a student through the Stephens College online Health Information Administration program and a student member of AAPC. In order to obtain my HIA degree in May 2014, I must do a research paper / research project during January to May 2014.


I am interested in getting the opinions and thought-processes of hiring managers for medical coding positions. What do these medical coding hiring managers think about internships, internal medical coding training programs, and whether AAPC or AHIMA-certification means anything without the accompanying 2 or more years of medical coding experience that most positions require? I am also interested in determining whether ICD-10 will change the hiring process for medical coders who do not have a lot of work experience.
