Hoping someone out there has some expertise with Flow Cytometry billing. I am trying to determine how to count the # of markers for billing. Should each marker be counted even though it may be repeated in combination with a different marker? Example: CD4, CD4 + CD26, would this be reported as 3 markers or 2 since CD4 would have already been counted? Do you know if there is any Medicare guidelines on this issue and if so where?

Would appreciate your help.
