Hello,

just wondering if anyone knows if codes 88184 and 88189 is per specimens, cpt doesn't really specify?

thank you

We really probably need a conversation here Lucy071789.
I don't have the interpretation that you received here to code the interpretation on the panels to code or the panels here.
I apologize here.

We typically bill per specimen. But if you have multiple FLOW panels run on the same specimen and each is separately designated and with it's own initial indicator of 88184, I believe you could bill more than one per specimen. You would need to add modifiers as appropriate.
