Wiki flu admin codes

I know that the admin codes were changed this year. I am wondering though for the flu shot would you still use the 90460 with counseling? what would you use for without counseling? I see the influenza codes are 90654-90668. I am in a pedictric office and mostly either a shot or the flu mist..any help would be great

Vaccine admin

If a provider or RN does the counseling and documents that the counseling was done, use 90460 for the flu vaccines.

If the injected vaccine is administered without conseling use 90471 if it's the initial vaccine given or 90472 if it's a subsequent vaccine.

For Flumist you should use 90473 (admin for initial oral or intranasal vaccine).
