Wiki flu vaccines requirements

My question is in regard to a flu vaccine given prior to the stated age requirement of 6 months. I'm looking for information that will inform me if we can give 90655 Influenza virus vaccine, trivalent, split virus, preservative free, when administered to children 6-35 months of age, for intramuscular use, to a pt who was 5 and 1/2 months old?

Since the CDC doesn't recommending flu vaccines for children under 6m old, it is likely that the insurance won't cover it. I didn't see anything that specified why other than them being too young for the vaccine.
