I am wondering how others would code the following scenario. The patient has right hip pain and was scheduled to see imaging for a Fluoroscopic Hip Joint injection. Patient was prepped and draped but there was difficulty with positioning, so the procedure was not done.

My question is am I still able to charge the facility 20610-52 since the pt was prepped for the intended procedure? I don't think capturing the 77002 would be appropriate.

Imaging Technique:

"The right was prepped and draped in the usual sterile fashion. Repeat imaging
of the previously marked site was several centimeters displaced, likely related
to difficulty with patient positioning, both due to the patient's discomfort
and pannus positioning. The decision was made that an anterior approach would
not be successful on today's exam due to patient condition and materials
available. The patient states she previously had success with a lateral
approach. The exam should be rescheduled with a practitioner comfortable with
alternative approach or CT-guided procedure. "

Any recommendations are appreciated.
