Can a provider bill for a follow-up phone call to the patient after discharge - answering any medical condition questions, prescription questions and providing education. Also confirming patient's follow-up appts. I have searched and searched and cant seem to find anything. Wouldn't it just be included in the E/M services that took place prior to discharge? Please help! Thank you
