In the past, when billing for a physician performing a colonoscopy in our own ASC, we billed the physician component with a place of service of 22 and the facility component with a place of service of 24. So we are wondering, for those of you billing for a physician owned ASC, how do you bill POS for the physician and facility charges?
 
We use 24 for the physicians and the facility. Any time anyone does something in the ASC it is 24 as that is where they are working.
