I cannot wrap my head around the difference between these 2 procedures. If someone has any helpful guidance or advise that would be greatly appreciated. When my surgeons word the operative note using the terms "rotation" and "muscle", I don't know how to tell the difference between the codes. The 2 specific codes that I currently am working with are 14020 and 15733. What do I look for in the note? Can the adjacent tissue transfer involve a muscle? What about the blood supply? It's been a long day and my brain can't figure this out.
