M.D. wants to charge for fb removal when it was attemped but actually removed by lavage. please advise. ty lburke
 
The CPT code 69200-removal foreign body from external auditory canal; without general anesthesia, does not specify the method of removal. He still removed the FB regardless of how it was performed.
