I was wondering if we can charge out fracture care for a patient who sustained a periprosthetic fracture to the proximal tibia?
The patient is two years out from a left total knee an sustained a proximal tibia fracture from a fall which the doctor diagnosed as a periprosthetic fracture. He is wanting to charge out 27530 for fracture care.
I am wondering if this is appropriate? Any input is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Sally
