If a patient has a linear fracture of the proximal phalanx and a nondisplaced fracture of the metacarpal on the same finger how do you code this?

Hi Donna,

I would suggest 817.0 - multiple closed fractures of the hand bones. Also the volume II clearly indicates that metacarpal of one hand with phalanx of the same hand. Please add your inputs.

Thanks in advance!
