WHAT ARE WE CONSIDERING FRACTURES AS FAR AS COMPLEXITY?

MINIMAL, LOW, MODERATE, HIGH???

BASED ON AMA MEDICAL DECISION MAKING CHART - ARE FRACTURES "SELF-LIMITED OR MINOR PROBLEM", "ACUTE COMPLICATED INJURY" ..... OR SOMETHING ELSE?

DOES IT DEPEND ON THE TYPE OF FRACTURE?

SIDE NOTE/QUESTION: IS CASTING CONSIDERED "MINOR SURGERY"

I would say it depends on the fracture but usually if you have a fracture you use cpt code not E/M. Unless they are going to surgery sameday/next day

Fracture would be an Acute complicated injury for a Moderate complexity problem.
Based on the definitions provided by the AMA, an uncomplicated injury example would be a a simple stain therefore I'm understanding it as as fractures would be a complicated injury.
