Fracture of hand AND a finger sprain...

Good morning all,

We have a patient who has a hand fracture AND a sprained finger (same hand). We charged an office visit with a modifier 50 and a treat fracture code for the hand.

Now the patient has returned for follow up and I was going to post a global for the hand, but can/should I charge an office visit for the sprained finger .. we also re-xrayed the hand, so we worked on both issues. Not sure if this should have been combined from the beginning or if we are ok.

Any advice much appreciated.
