Need some help on how to code this senerio!

Impaction Fracture of the shoulder
Status Post Open Reduction Internal Fixation of hip (within Global Period)

Can I code for the fractured shoulder with a fracture care code and code V45.89 -Status Post with 99024? Will I need to use a 24 Modifier?
