I have a patient (infant) with a labial frenulum preventing proper latching and breastfeeding , ultimaly ending with inability to gain weight and malnutrition. When the Doctor did the procedure frenotomy- the CPT code used 41010. DX using K13.0 I am wondering if this will be specific enough now with the specificity detail required. Only code with similar reference is Q38.1, however this patient did not have a tongue tie, they had a lip tie which has no specific dx. Am I correct in using K13.0 or is there any other more specific code to use? thank you
